After Hours Services

Our behavioral health program provides crisis intervention services 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Our behavioral health team is available at 907-376-2411 for crisis consults after normal business hours.

If you have a medical emergency please call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Many people are unfamiliar with the term Behavioral Health.  Over the past years the field of Mental Health has grown to include not only Mental Illness, but also Substance Abuse and Traumatic Brain Injury.  The term Behavioral Health is used to encompass all of these conditions.

Counseling Services

We provide a full range of counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinical staff offers individual, family, or group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management and/or referral to rehabilitative services. Every person receives individualized treatment planning and becomes the focal point of the services provided. We use an integrated service model that incorporates mental health, substance abuse concerns, and an individual’s physical health.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services

The Rehab Services program provides community support to both children and adults who are experiencing symptoms of a chronic mental illness or a severe emotional disturbance which is impacting their ability to function in multiple realms, including family, school or community.

Case Management and Skills Development services are provided based upon a Functional Assessment completed upon referral which identifies those services which will best meet the person’s needs.

Case Managers assist individuals and their families in identifying, accessing and coordinating needed services and resources available to them both at Mat-Su Health Center and in the community.

Skills Development Specialists teach and monitor activities of daily living including self- care and life skills. Staff can provide these services in office, community, and school or home based settings depending on the identified need. We offer both individual and group skills development.

National Depression Screening Day

NDSD is October 10th; the goal is to screen and educate for depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. In honor of this important day we have set up a free anonymous screening that you can take online anytime you wish throughout the year.
